What We Do
Bottom Shelf Dementia Day Service
Our day service will allow you to enjoy a stress free day allowing you to do the things you enjoy most with all the support you need. From cooking to gardening we have something that suits anyone’s lifestyle helping you keep active in both body and mind.
Breakfast & Lunch Menu
We offer a full breakfast and lunch menu perfect for the whole family to enjoy a nutritious meal in a relaxed and friendly environment. We can open late for this service upon an early request.
Safe & Secure Environment
Our full premise is open to you to give you a large safe area to spend your time and enjoy your days with us. We are of course fully licensed and every part of our premises are rigorously checked to ensure your safety.
Specialist Staff
We are proudly staffed by experts with decades of health experience and outstanding volunteers who love donating their time to help people day in day out. We are thankful for all the hard work our staff put in all year round.
On Going Support
We love building relationships with the people who use us. We also know dementia care can be a long and stressful road. This is why we are here to support you and your family all year round come rain or shine.
Free Education & Courses
We also offer free education courses ranging from basic to advanced/ accredited courses / life skills / support & talk service (counselling). We pride ourselves on having an open door policy to all.
Building Bridges – Linking Communities
Bridge Community Centre has been providing a safe, secure and responsive environment for those in the earlier stages of dementia since 2014. Our purpose is to continue to provide day-to-day respite support day centre service for those living with dementia & support their families too; our trained staff & volunteers are dedicated to those who are living with cognitive impairment. We pride ourselves in offering a safe, pleasant, and engaging stimulating environment for those living with dementia offering daily activities & interactive specifically tailored to meet the needs of the individual stages of dementia.
We also provide an early breakfast & lunch menu and offer late opening by arrangement only.
Offering free education basic to advanced / Accredited courses / Life skills / support & talk service (counselling) we are also an award winning community centre that prides ourselves in offering an open door policy to all.
